The data export wizard lets you easily choose the data that you want to extract.  You don't have to worry about the database layout, simply drag the data elements from a tree representation of the system.  The wizard provides common filtering options, so that you don't have to define these over and over.  However, you can add additional filtering options so that the data extracted matches your requirements exactly.
